Human Resource Management
This course will enable students to analyse the component of the changing environment of Human Resource Management. The role of manager and employees in the organization will be enhanced. In addition, it focuses on the function of human resource management such as training, compensation, performance appraisal, and handling grievances to provide students with important personnel management skills. Occupational Safety and Health issues will also be discussed.
Business Communication for Management (UNI 1014)
This course is designed to help students improve their business communication skills. Students are trained to design a job application letter and a resume and go through a job interview session. Students are taught on writing a report where information transfer skill is required for this element. They also have to present their report in front of the class in order to enhance their oral speaking skill. They will also be taught to conduct business meetings thus able to prepare notice, agenda and minutes of meeting. This course will also equip them on how to write business letters, memos, instant messages and emails. All of these are essentail for their professional growth.
Computer Applications (OIT 1013)
This course covers the components of a computer system and how it functions in information processing including computer hardware and software, system unit components, network and communications and manage computing securely, safely, and ethically. The issues of Internet and available application and system software also being discussed.

Principles Of Management (DMT 1013)
An analysis of the role of the manager and the functions of management in an organization. Consideration is given to the interlocking nature of these functions and principles, which are the basics for the practice of management. Attention is given to the impact of the external environment of the development of the managerial functions and on managerial practices.

The course emphasizes the history and changing nature of records and recordkeeping systems, particularly those changes influenced by technology. Records Management is a management skill which is applied in the control of records, created and received by an organization in the course of its business. Records are created as a result of the functions and activities of organizations and individuals, and their relationship to those functions and activities is a major determinant of the ways in which they are managed.

This course is offered to all learners on how to manage basic learning skill such as critical and creative skills, foundation of research writing, presentation and so on which will bring us to adapt new learning skills suitable for 21st century. This elements will produce a good students who needs by industry, the skills provided will help them more for both world which are academic and industry.
